I am an art historian specializing in Chinese art and visual culture, with a particular focus on knowledge production and cross–cultural exchange in early modern China.My research examines how images function as epistemic tools within imperial contexts, bridging art history with the history of science, translation studies, and global modernity. More recently, my work has expanded to postwar and Cold War art in Asia, with an emphasis on transnational mobility, institutions, and oral history as a historical method.
Alongside my academic writing, I am actively engaged in curatorial practice, conference organization, and public scholarship, working across museums, archives, and international research networks.
