This graduate student offered an important platform for young scholars in Taiwan to engage with ongoing debates on Qing court art. Building on an earlier international workshop, the event gathered graduate students to explore themes such as “Court Style and Its Formation,” “The Emperor and the Court,” and “Technology and Materiality.” By encouraging dialogue across different research materials and perspectives, the workshop strengthened the training of a new generation of Qing specialists and fostered a domestic scholarly community connected to global discussions.
